One-day rapid chess competition for under-9 boys & girls in Kolhapur on April 30

Kolhapur, Apr 27 (UNI) A one-day rapid chess competition will be held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Stadium here on April 30 (Sunday) to select a squad of under-9 boys and girls from the district.
The competition will be held in Swiss League format and on behalf of Chess Association Kolhapur (CAK) in recognition of the Kolhapur District Chess Association, a press release stated here on Thursday.
Two winners each from boys and girls will be selected in the district team, which will participate in the state-level under-9 chess championship to be held at Nagpur from May 2 to 7, it added.
