The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that 32 athletes are running for election to the IOC Athletes’ Commission (AC) during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. There are four available positions, with 18 female and 14 male athletes from 15 different sports competing for these spots.

All athletes participating in the Paris 2024 Games can vote at the Athlete365 House in the Olympic Villages. The election process will be overseen and verified by a committee appointed by IOC president Thomas Bach.

The IOC Athletes’ Commission consists of a maximum of 23 members, including 12 elected directly by athletes and up to 11 appointed members, serving an eight-year term. Elections are held at each Olympic Games, with four members elected at Summer Games and two at Winter Games.
