Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave out about 51,000 job offer letters to new recruits as part of the Rozgar Mela scheme. He spoke to them, emphasizing the government’s effort to create job opportunities for young people. Modi highlighted the importance of the new employees in serving the public and stressed that improving the lives of citizens should be a priority.
He mentioned how India is undergoing significant changes in infrastructure, leading to more job opportunities. The Prime Minister also shared that over 13 crore people have been lifted out of poverty due to government schemes.
Talking about the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which aims to bring government programs to people’s doorsteps, Modi urged the new recruits to serve the public. The Rozgar Mela was conducted at 37 locations across the country, offering jobs in central and state government departments.
Modi launched the Rozgar Mela initiative last year, aiming to create 10 lakh government jobs. The new recruits will also have access to training through an online module called Karmayogi Prarambh on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, providing over 800 e-learning courses for flexible learning.
