Modi holds massive Day-2 roadshow amidst Jai Bajrang Balichants in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, May 7 (UNI) Amidst chanting of Jai Shri Ram and Jai Bajrang Bali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took out a two-hour roadshow on the last day of campaigning forMay 10 Karnataka assembly election here onSunday.
Modi’s eight-km long cavalcade received enthusiastic response from his supporters, who showered flower petals on him. The cavalcade passed through 13 assembly seats in eastern and central parts of Bengaluru city.
Modi began the roadshow by paying floral tributes to the statue of Kempegowda located at Thippasandra and ended at Trinity circle.
A large number of people representing all age groups stood on both sides of the road for over two hours for a glimpse of the Prime Minister, who seemed in high spirits.
Fans masked themselves with Bajrang Bali chants , sang and danced to drumbeats, and rendition of Hanuman Chalisa. A few of them wore Lord Hanuman’s attire and carried maces, while chanting Jai Sri Ram and Jai Modi.
BJP leaders claimed this was the second longest roadshow by any Indian politician ever. The first such roadshow was held by Modi in Ahmedabad city ahead of the 2022 Gujarat assembly elections.
