Due to the severe heatwave in Delhi, the government has advised all private and government-aided schools to start summer vacation early. The Directorate of Education has ordered all schools to close from May 11 to June 30.
The department noted that some schools were still open despite the heatwave and instructed all school heads to close immediately.
