New Delhi, Apr 15 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday claimed that the Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation have accused former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia of destroying his 14 phones while five of them are in ED’s custody and one with CBI which shows the agency’s seizure report.
Kejriwal, in a press briefing, accused the central probe agencies of producing false evidence in Court. “The agencies produced fake evidence before the court because there was no evidence of scam,” he alleged.
Kejriwal alleged, “The investigative agencies have been torturing the suspects and pressurizing them to falsely name others so that agencies make false cases against us.”
“No scam has happened in Delhi excise policy but agencies are trying to falsely prove it by torturing suspects that corruption happened,” alleged Kejriwal.
CM said that the agencies alleged there was a scam of Rs 100 crore in Delhi excise policy but nota single rupee has yet been found after 400 raids. “When agencies didn’t find money after several raids, they alleged the money was used in the Goa election, then they raided all vendors and recorded their statements but nothing suspicious was found of them too as all the payments were made through cheques. We have already submitted all the documents of election to the Election Commission,” claimed Kejriwal.
“I have received summons from the CBI to appear before it. I will certainly honour it and will go there,” he said.
