Ballari, May 10 A Congress leader on Wednesday allegedly was injured in a clash in Ballari rural constituency in Karnataka assembly election.
According to police, Umesh Yadav was allegedly injured in the head in the clash. The police reached the spot and dispersed the violent mob.
In another incident, BJP workers allegedly clashed with the Karnataka Rajya Pragathi Paksha Party (KRPP) workers at Gangavati central constituency.
KRPP was founded by former BJP leader and minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, the in famousmining baron from Ballari, who is contesting from Gangavathi assembly seat.
The counting of the votes is scheduled for May 13.
